Student Wellbeing
Student wellbeing is at the heart of all that we do at Etone College. There are many ways that we actively promote good mental health and wellbeing which include:
- Lessons as part of our Learning for Life programme
- Recognition of national days such as Mental Health Day and Mental Health Week
- Cross curricular activities as part of Children’s Mental Health Week
- Assemblies
- Display Boards which include signposting support
- Mental Health Ambassadors who are pupils trained to look after the wellbeing of other pupils who will produce updates for this page
- A whole staff mental health calendar which includes a different whole school focus each month such as Time to Talk and Etone Wellbeing Week
- Etone 5 Top Tips to wellbeing
- Brew Monday. Wellbeing Club taking place on Monday's After School
- Mind Sixth Form Self-Referral
- External speakers such as Loudmouth Theatre Group
- A focus on care and support through our Etone Values and events to encourage pupils to give to others including many opportunities for active Citizenship
- Contact with outside agencies to provide individual support as required
- Updates in the parent newsletter
- Twitter and website updates with our latest wellbeing activities
- Participation in National Initiatives such as Sporting Active in Mind
