Our goal in the Modern Foreign Languages department is to produce confident, competent linguists with a curiosity and appreciation of other cultures. We encourage our pupils to be the best linguists they can be by equipping them with the knowledge and skills to thrive and succeed in language learning. We provide our pupils with opportunities to broaden their horizons and gain an awareness of target language speaking countries. These opportunities also enable pupils to participate in a range of linguistic and cultural educational experiences to be open-minded, tolerant global citizens.
