The core of computing is computer science, in which pupils are taught the principles of information and computation, how digital systems work, and how to put this knowledge to use through programming. Building on this knowledge and understanding, pupils are equipped to use information technology to create programs, systems and a range of content. Here at Etone College we believe that giving our pupils frequent exposure to computer science and information technology will prepare them for the challenges of the future. A future where technology and computing will continue to be at the forefront, therefore the importance of pupils having the tools to be able to achieve success has never been more required.
