Geography
The Geography Curriculum aims to inspire curiosity in people, processes and the environment. It is designed to develop knowledge of places, people, resources, environments and appreciate diversity. To understand physical and human processes, how they shape the world we live in and how we interact with them. Topics are sequenced to allow them to build on each other and develop skills and knowledge over time. The Geography curriculum at Etone College matches the National Curriculum, with Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 matching the AQA specifications. Key Stage 3 is designed to allow students to study breadth and depth in content whist developing geographical skills which will be built upon at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. The curriculum offers opportunities for enrichment through fieldwork locally, further afield and through the use of Geographic Information Systems.
