On Friday 22nd November, the English Department welcomed back Year 6 pupils from Wembrook Primary School where they became reading detectives. With the help of Miss Benfell, pupils had to use their greater depth reading skills and work their way through riddles and tasks to find the code to the locked box of mystery! It was a fun session with pupils saying that they ‘really enjoyed all of it’ and one pupil even asked ‘can I just live here?!’. I think I’d call that a great success.
